Twinning = Winning


The first thing Ainslie said when she came out of the change room was, "I feel like I'm in a Wes Anderson movie." In the best way of course! I mean, who wouldn't want to be a character in one of his films?? On this dreary day, we decided to play dress up with some of the new gems we got in by Betina Lou. This Montreal based line is always highly anticipated at the start of every season. We love her for her play on classic cuts and silhouettes, her love of detailing and all around cute/sophisticated vibes!
Here we are matching and feeling super collegiate. Wearing the Betina Lou Virginia top in both colours, and the Beth shorts. $135, and $140 respectively. Currently available at Dalhousie and West.
The two colours she did in this top are so great and can completely change the look of it. The dark chartreuse-y version is made of out of silky tencel giving it a lovely drape and feel. It packs more of a punch and is a bit dressier. The chambray cotton is your classic button down with the sweetest twist. This would look great with a crew neck pull over and the cute collar peeking out.

A few weeks ago this girl came in the shop wearing an 1130 purse as a backpack and I had to do a double take - she had come up with this amazing little trick to turn it into a backpack! I mean, I love a good backpack and when you're out adventuring you don't want the hassle of wearing a purse across your body. So we decided to incorporate it into our outfits, imagining ourselves going on one last adventure before the summer is out!
