Shelter Marie Pants (Black)

Shelter's Marie Pants are a lightly tapered, high waisted everyday linen pant. The length perfect for cuffing and the pants also feature an elastic waist and deep pockets. The Marie Pants are roomy, while still being flattering, and feature a slightly dropped crotch that is just the right amount of slouchy. These pants would look wonderful paired with either a simple or patterned blouse or tank. You'll be reaching for these comfy and chic pants multiple times a week for sure!

100% Cotton/Linen blend

Unfortunately it is not uncommon for linen to become threadbare with lots of love and wear. Linen is made from flax, so it is a very soft and buttery fabric that can lose strength in "high friction" areas (aka: where our thighs meet). We offer a cotton/linen blend fabric to combat this issue. We have found that it is a strong and beautiful alternative to 100% linen pants. The cotton blend starts out more stiff but with wear and washing the linen aspect comes out so beautifully. If you plan on living in your linen pants, it might be worth it to consider this as a nice alternative.

Machine wash in cold water on the gentle cycle and hang to dry.
