Eliza Faulkner is a Montreal-based designer known for her bold use of colour and textures, ultra-feminine dresses and playful, relaxed attitude towards dressing. What began as a curiosity for artisanal craft first working with makers in Morocco, evolved into a fully realized collection designed and produced in Vancouver. Today, A Bronze Age is shaped by a close-knit circle of family, with three generations of women involved in the making of each piece.

With seven years of experience in the fashion industry, Marilyne Baril worked for both large and small Quebec fashion companies before launching Marigold, her own brand, in 2014. Her determination, creativity, and attention to detail have earned her several grants and awards of excellence, including the 2016 ARIANE Emerging Designer of the Year Award. Marilyne Baril supports ethical and fair practices, respecting both manufacturing sector employees and the environment. She carefully selects her subcontractors and pays close attention to the origin of her raw materials in order to create chic, high-quality Montreal-made clothing. It is with great pride that all Marigold garments are made in Quebec by local people. The company promotes “slow fashion,” prioritizing quality over quantity.
