Our Story

Victoire is the brainchild of high school BFFs Katie Frappier and Regine Paquette. Our shared love of fashion and politics made us perfect co-conspirators to launch a business that combined ethics with design.

20 years of Canadian Fashion

In celebration of our milestone 20th anniversary, we asked what Victoire means to our community and it is clear our legacy's impact lies beyond the wardrobe.

Slow Fashion at Our Core

Victoire has championed sustainable fashion since our doors opened in 2006. Ever since, the majority of clothing and accessories we showcase are proudly and ethically made in Canada. Victoire’s approach to business is anchored in community and collaboration. Between the dedicated work of our in-store employees, the creativity of our webstore team and the caring feedback from our customers, our store thrives thanks to these committed and reciprocal relationships.

Joyously Dressing For Yourself

We don’t believe in any fashion rules other than joyously dressing for yourself. We say an enthusiastic “Yes!” to bold colours, fun silhouettes and, most of all, feeling good in your clothing. Dedicated to inclusive sizing, we are passionately continuing to expand our offering so that more people can find joy at Victoire Boutique.

Committed to Representation

Since June 2020, Victoire has committed to growing the representation of BIPOC owned brands to 20% of the store, a target we’ve met and look forward to continually exceeding. We strive to reflect the full spectrum of the design community of Canada and are especially dedicated to increasing the representation of Indigenous designers.
