Pleet Dreams Are Made of This

New to the roster of designers we carry at the shop is Samantha Pleet. Based out of NYC, Pleet is known for her whimsical prints and her unique way of giving classic silhouettes a special touch of modernity. From season to season, she creates collections that are nothing short of elegant and otherworldly. I know us shop gals have swooned over her work for quite some time so we're pretty stoked to have some of her pieces available at the shop!

Leaf Tank, $120. Leaf Shorts, $150. Available at both Ottawa shops. Both pieces also come in solid black that is available at both Ottawa shops as well.

The lovely Samantha Pleet has all her prints custom made and draws inspiration from art, history, photography as well as film giving each collection a unique and playful quality that is hard not to love. I mean, just look at that leaf print! There's no denying that this is one heck of an outfit when both pieces are worn together but there's nothing stopping you from rocking these pieces separately. I can totally see the crop top looking stellar and super summer paired with a maxi skirt.

Samantha Pleet often expresses her designs through movies, bringing her world to life through film. Check out her short film for this collection! It features two other pretty rad NYC based creative ladies (Hannah Kristina and Emily Theobald). It's so dreamy. it just might make you want to escape to a far away, stylish island this summer.
