Do you have gently worn pieces from Victoire sitting in your closet that just aren't getting the love they deserve anymore?
Victoire is thrilled to announce that we will begin the process of collecting gently used items from Victoire's past to be able to provide them a new home and thus extend their life cycle. We stand by the superior quality manufacturing of the made-in-Canada clothing we carry, often with a focus on zero waste processes, natural materials, slow batch production, and a whole lot of heart! We have always said that the clothes we sell are the "vintage of tomorrow," so it's exciting for us to finally close the loop in our consumption cycle and offer this service.
Whether they are recent or vintage, worn-in or pristine, we will welcome them back in exchange for a small credit towards a future purchase at Victoire.
How it works:
Drop by anytime with your pieces during the week Monday-Friday 10am - 6pm.
Unfortunately we cannot accept drop-offs on Saturday or Sunday.
You can also mail in your pieces if you are outside of Ottawa. Please send us an email (notrevictoire@gmail.com) to inform us of what is coming before mailing. Shipping is covered by the sender. Please ship to:

You will receive Store Credit Upfront at drop off based on the store credit pay structure outlined below. If you send returns by mail, we will e-mail you a credit code as soon as they are received. Please be sure to include your contact information so we know where to send your discount code!
Store credit can be used immediately in-store or online on any item with no expiry. Some exceptions apply, please see below.
Store Credit Pay Scale:
Flat Rate (Non-Negotiable)
$15 - Dresses/Jumpsuits/Rompers
$15 - Leather Bags, Coats, Sweaters/Knitwear
$10 - Bottoms: Pants, Shorts, Skirts
$10 - Tops: Woven Tops, Blouses and Tank Tops

What sort of condition should my items be in?
Gently used or lightly worn garments from smoke free homes are preferred.

Gently used or lightly worn garments from smoke free homes are preferred.
However we will accept garments that are recent or vintage, worn or unworn, slightly damaged* or pristine.
*If items are deemed too degraded or damaged to be laundered into sellable condition, Victoire reserves the right to refuse.
What happens to the pieces after I drop them off?
We've already donated 78 workwear pieces to Dress for Success Ottawa! Any non workwear styles will be laundered and mended so that they're in re-sellable condition. When enough pieces have been accumulated, we'll sell them in store and/or online. Be sure to sign up to our mailing list if you want to be notified of our first Vintage Victoire in-store shopping event!
What if I change my mind? Can I request my item back after I have dropped it off?
We do assume you have approached this program with the reflection required to have made a decision you are confident in. For this reason we will not be able to accommodate a change of mind.
Can I get cash for my items?
We are only offering store credit as part of this program.
How do I know if you're accepting items or not?
We will always be accepting items in Ottawa unless stated otherwise via our socials and website. For pieces that will be mailed to the shop, send us an email to give us a heads up!
Is there a limit to the number of items that I can drop off?
There is no limit to the number or articles that can be dropped off, however there will be a limit to the amount of store credit that can be redeemed on a single visit.
While you can collect an unlimited amount of store credit through our buy-back program, a maximum amount of $75 store credit can be applied towards a new purchase at any given time. Your extra store credit can be saved for a future purchase!

What if I have a piece of clothing from a designer you carry, but I didn't get it from Victoire?
If the article of clothing is from a designer we currently carry, but you didn't purchase it from Victoire, we are still happy to accept the item!
