Daldanea Bo Bardi Earrings
Description
Daldanea's Bo Bardi Earrings are inspired by the architectural work of Lina Bo Bardi. After falling in love with a drawing of Bardi's, Daldanea felt inspired to bead the "hill" in this piece which is reminiscent of the shape in the drawing. The colour combo used here is intensified by the bold shapes and line. Created with a square stitching style where the beads are interwoven into a solid piece. The whole piece feels like a miniature beaded tapestry pending from a small brass disc that allow the piece to turn freely.

The brass ‘coins’ are unlacquered. With use, they will darken and acquire patina over time. Polishing will restore the sheen if desired.

Her designs are influenced by different life experiences along her travels, and her interests in Folklore, Mythology and Pictorial Arts.
